Within the last couple of weeks our backyard has provided us with some valuable science lessons.
1. The day after a day filled with tornado warnings you might fight a dead baby bird on your picnic table. :(
2. Carpenter bees - our arbor provided us with the opportunity to meet them up close and learn about their habitats and life cycle. (Whether we wanted to our not).
3. The bird feeders outside our kitchen window showed us a great example of the food chain as we laughed and learned. Everyone had theirs eyes on the squirrel that was raiding the bird feeder. The birds watched from the fence, we watched from the window and the neighborhood cat watched from the ground.
Just a mom seeking holiness and health for her family. Join me as I share our tales, trials and triumphs of raising our 4 amazing testosterone driven tornados.

Autism 101
Impending thunderstorms/tornados equals hard days. Why do I always forget that until the storm is on it's way out?!?

So the boys were playing restaurant last night and all I hear is boy #2 (6) say "order up! One beer and a plate of sarcasm!" boy #1 (7) replies - "no problem I've got that" me thinking that my children are hysterical and brilliant only to find out that my husband just placed that order because he knew it could be filled. Never a dull moment!
